This is probably one of the best lip balm recipes I’ve created. Incredibly simple to make, it tastes like vanilla and chocolate cocoa butter and leaves your lips feeling soft and shiny. The project only needs about a half-hour of your time and a few gorgeous, natural ingredients including cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, and beeswax. The recipe will make you up to 10 tubes of lip balm or five of the little pots. Enough to treat yourself and your friends.

1. 4 tablespoons almond, olive, or jojoba oil
2. 1 tbsp grated wax
3. 1 tsp honey
4. 7 drops of lavender essential oil
5. ¼ teaspoon of vitamin E oil (you can do this by squeezing a vitamin E capsule)
6. SP TSP colored lipstick (this is for color hints)
7. 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
Heat the oil (whatever you choose) and wax in a small bowl made of stainless steel. Be sure to heat it over a very low flame. Stir until the wax melts and whisk in the essential oil, colored lipstick, cocoa powder, and vitamin E. Take the bowl and place its bottom in a pan of ice water. As you mix in the honey, keep stirring the mixture. Once the honey is found, transfer the mixture to a lip balm container or tube. Leave it to set in the fridge for 3 hours. Your lip balm is ready.
Lip Balm DIY
1. 5 g wax es
2. 3 grams virgin coconut oil
3. 4 grams sweet almond oil
4. 4 grams of cocoa butter
5. 2 g soy lecithin
6. 4 grams of dark maple syrup
1. In a double boiler add cocoa butter, coconut oil, wax, sweet almond oil, soy lecithin, and maple syrup, and let the ingredients melt over medium heat.
2. Once you remove it from the stove, whisk the mixture and continue whisking until cool.
3. When the mixture is emulsified and cooled to room temperature, pour the lip balm into a tin or jar.
This lip balm will give you a taste of fresh coconut and give your lips a shiny glow, thanks to the wax. Beeswax will also moisturize your lips.
1. 1 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
2. 1 tbsp grated wax
3. A dash of organic honey
4. 2 Vitamin E Capsules (Squeeze Oil From These Capsules)
Heat in a stainless steel bowl until the wax melts. When the wax is half melted, add honey and coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients well. Add vitamin E oil. When the mixture has cooled, put it in a tin or lip balm container and keep it in the fridge. Apply whenever your lips feel dry.
First, we’re gonna mix our wax. And our coconut oil I have four tablespoons of each here but you can do any amount as long as it’s a one-to-one ratio of beeswax of DIY chapstick.

1. ½ tablespoon castor oil
2. 1 tbsp wax
3. 1 tbsp cocoa butter
4. 3 tbsp rose oil
5. teaspoon vanilla extract
6. Sp teaspoon alkanet root (powder)
Melt the wax in a double boiler. Add rose oil, castor oil, and cocoa butter to the mixture. Add vanilla extract for a nice scent and alkanet root for red. When the mixture has cooled, pour it into a lip balm tin or tube. Keep the balm in the fridge for a while to freeze and use whenever you want.
Shea butter lip balm would be an ideal choice for getting soft, hydrated lips, as this lip balm uses shea butter and wax.
1. 1 tbsp Organic Coconut Oil
2. 1 tbsp shea butter
3. A few drops of lemon essential oil
4. A few drops of lemon essential oil1 tbsp wax
5. 1 tsp honey
Put shea butter, wax, and coconut oil in a double boiler pot and heat it on a stove. Once the wax has melted, add honey and lemon essential oil to the mixture. Allow the lip balm to cool and transfer it to the lip balm container or tube. Refrigerate to set. Use it as needed.
There are many ways you can play with this recipe to make it your own. DIY lip balms are in vogue, and you can make many different lip balms, each with a variety of flavors and fragrances. You can make lip balm with or without beeswax if you wish, as you can always replace beeswax. In addition to the above recipes, you can also experiment with unique flavors and colors.
