1. Lavender Lip Balm

The presence of lavender essential oil in the lip balm will give your lips a marvelous taste. This will also make your lips feel soft. This recipe is easy to make, you just melt everything together in a small saucepan. Then there is the simple but important step to making sure it is emulsifying. Since this recipe contains honey, it is necessary to whisk the lip balm on an ice bath until it thickens to melt the ingredients together.

Ingredients

1. 4 tablespoons almond, olive, or jojoba oil

2. 1 tbsp grated wax

3. 1 tsp honey

4. 7 drops of lavender essential oil

5. ¼ teaspoon of vitamin E oil (you can do this by squeezing a vitamin E capsule)

6. SP TSP colored lipstick (this is for color hints)

7. 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

Method

Heat the oil (whatever you choose) and wax in a small bowl made of stainless steel. Be sure to heat it over a very low flame. Stir until the wax melts and whisk in the essential oil, colored lipstick, cocoa powder, and vitamin E. Take the bowl and place its bottom in a pan of ice water. As you mix in the honey, keep stirring the mixture. Once the honey is found, transfer the mixture to a lip balm container or tube. Leave it to set in the fridge for 3 hours. Your lip balm is ready.
